1970/M.S. ’72 Larry J. Tidemann received the Midwestern Higher Education Compact’s Phillip Sirotkin Award during its annual commission meeting in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Nov. 14. He was also re-elected to serve as the compact’s treasurer on its governing board.
1973 John C. Hunter was recognized in July as part of the 2023 inductee class into the Cattle Marketing Hall of Fame. He resides in Ardmore.
1976 Russell G. Lampy was honored by Gov. Kristi Noem ’11 with Nov. 13, 2023, being proclaimed as Russ Lampy Day. Russ retired as a sales engineer from SDN Communications in December with the state of South Dakota as his sole account for the past 19 years. He resides in Pierre.
