More than 500 people gathered in Frost Arena April 27 for the second Jackrabbit Scholarship Auction that generated $370,000, which was enough to fund 27 full, in-state athletic scholarships, according to the initial count.
The Jackrabbit Athletics staff staged a lively event that exceeded expectations as well as last year’s $300,000 mark.
