APRIL 21 – SDSU MOM’S WEEKEND: Staters for State helped with the very first SDSU’s Mom Weekend, held April 11-12, by hosting the Campanile Climb which included scooping up some delicious SDSU Ice Cream.

NOV 9, 2013 – CLASS OF 1961 REUNION: This group met Nov. 9 at the home of Jim and Phyl Schurz in Phoenix, Arizona. Deanna Sell Davison, Jo Ann Zwanziger, Barbara Underhill, Jayne Marshall, Frank Underhill, Jim Schurz, Phyllis Schurz, Joy Jundt Robinson and Terry Robinson ’62.

2014 JACKRABBITS IN SOUTH AMERICA: The South Dakota Agriculture and Rural Leadership Class VII members held its international seminar in South America. Of the 29 participants on the Chile trip, 16 were SDSU alumni. Of the 14 Class VII participants who stayed to tour Peru, nine were SDSU alumni.

MAY 22 – TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME: Nearly 170 alumni, friends and parents attended a pregame social in Sioux Falls to cheer on the Jackrabbits in the 2014 Summit League Baseball Tournament.

JANUARY 11 – KNOFCZYNSKI FAMILY NAMED 2014 SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY FAMILY OF THE YEAR: The Clayton and Audrey Knofczynski Family were selected Family of the Year by the SDSU Alumni Association and Staters for State, the student alumni organization. The Knofczynski family was honored during halftime at the January 11 SDSU women’s basketball game.
