October 10 – Brookings, SD: Enjoying the warm weather before the Jacks take the football field, the Staters for State worked at the Rabbit Den Tailgate Tent.

November 10 – Brookings, SD: The Staters for State, the student alumni group, celebrated the Jackrabbit’s birthday in the University Student Union.

November 29 – Washington, DC: After signing themselves into chapterhood, the newest chapter the DC Jacks celebrated at the Tortoise and Hare Bar and Gille in Arlington, VA.

In June 2011, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Knofczynski (SDSU ’90) and Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Davis (SDSU ’91), both Air Force ROTC graduates, graduated with master’s degrees from the National Defense University located in Washington, D.C. They were joined by Army Brig. Gen. Myrna Williamson (retired) who graduate from SDSU in 1960. Both Charles and Jonathan were promoted to colonel August 1, 2011. Brig. Gen.
