Courtney (Anderson) ’07 and Sterling ’09 Eschenbaum, a boy, Ryker John, born August 15, 2013. Courtney is a lead family services specialist for Child Protection Services in Brookings. Sterling farms and raises cattle on the Wienk Charolais Ranch. They live in Lake Preston, SD.

Ariy-El S. Boynton ’11 recently earned his master’s from American Intercontinental University. He works in a managerial position at SmarteCartie Inc. He lives in Redmond, WA.

Barbara A. (Renner) Levenson ’70 retired after 27 years as a staff pharmacist at Atascadero State Hospital. She lives in Atascadero, CA.

Christie L. Chicoine ’88 recently became the news editor of “Catholic New York,” the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of New York, headquartered in New York City. She lives in New York, NY.

David C. Grieser ’69 has written a book titled “Survival on the Rosebud Indian Reservation” published by Strategic Book Publishing in August 2012. He lives in West Des Moines, IA.

Gregory P. Culling ’68 recently retired after 25 years of working at nonprofits; including the Dramatist Guild, National Audubon Society and the Population Council. He lives in Jackson Heights, NY.

Harvey R. Levenson MS ’68 retired from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, after 30 years of continuous service as a professor and department head of graphic communication. He was the longest ongoing department head or chair service in the more than 100-year history of Cal Poly. He lives in Atascadero, CA.

Jeffrey C. Nolz ’03 is the new assistant professor in the microbiology and immunology department at Oregon Health and Science University. He lives in Portland, OR.

Kenneth J. Hellevang ’78/MS ’79 was named to the class of 2013 ASABE Fellows by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. He was inducted at a ceremony on July 21-24 during the 2013 ASABE Annual International Meeting held in Kansas City, MO. He lives in Fargo, ND.

Kevin D. Tetzlaff ’91 was recently elected chairman of the South Dakota Bankers Association (SDBA) Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 term. He lives in Brookings, SD.

Larry J. Stevens ’74, P.E., PWLF, was recently elected president-elect of the American Works Association (APWA) for 2013-2014. He lives in Ankeny, IA.

Lori L. Winkelman ’90 has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in American 2014. She lives in Tempe, AZ.

Paul G. Johnson ’09 earned first place in the Clinical Research/Public Health Category at the 54th American Dental Association/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Research Program at the American Dental Association Annual Session in New Orleans on Nov. 2, 2013.

Raymond A. Harris ’03 was recently elected to the board of directors of the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Ray was also recently named to serve on the State Bar of Michigan’s Probate and Estate Planning Section Guardianship and Conservatorship Committee. He lives in Holt, MI.

Rosaline C. Guastella ’80 was crowned Ms. Senior Michigan on July 17, 2013, and will go on to compete at the national level in Atlantic City, NJ. She lives in Plymouth, MI.

Sheryl A. (Doering) Meshke ’88 was the recipient of the 2013 H.E. Klinefelter Award, CCA’s highest honor for a career cooperative communicator. She lives in Lake Crystal, MN.
