Rebecca J. (Jobes) Lansing ’79/MEd ’07 is the new Kindergarten Director/Lecturer at the University of West Georgia. She lives in Villa Rica, GA.
Kim Raap ’77 was inducted into the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame Sept. 15, 2012, at Eagle River, Wis. Raap, a parks management graduate, began his career in 1978 as the first manager of Big Sioux Recreation Area. In 1979 he created the first snowmobile trail in the Sioux Falls area and later managed the Roy Lake snowmobile trail in northeast South Dakota. He managed South Dakota’s trails from 1985 to 1995, headed Wyoming’s program from 1995 to 2004, and then became a private consultant. Raap, of Sioux Falls, was previously named Most Valuable Snowmobiler by Snowmobile Magazine.
