1970 (M.S.)/Ph.D. ’73 Dr. S.K. Dash joined Jagadguru Kripalu University as chancellor and chairman with the responsibility of overseeing the university’s performance and accountability. He resides in Edina, Minnesota.
1975/M.S. ’96 Joyce A. (Hoberg) Kaatz wrote a book about how to raise a monarch from egg to butterfly called “Raising Little Stripe.” She resides in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
1984 Michelle D. (Moeller) Tidemann retired in July 2020 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison after working 32 years as the Extension educator/administrator and was additionally awarded Professor Emeritus. She resides in Rosendale, Wisconsin.
1994 Craig B. Haas recently wrote a science fiction novel called “The Imagination Council.” He resides in Clive, Iowa.
1998 Matthew J. Hendrickson received a M.Ed. in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, May 7, 2021. He currently teaches U.S. history at Central High School in Pollok, Texas. He resides in Nacogdoches.

2001/M.Ed. ’08 Mathew P. Raba was named the 2020-2021 Secondary Principal of the Year for South Dakota for his work at Belle Fourche High School. He resides in Belle Fourche.
2003/Pharm.D. ’05 Dan J. Hansen was named dean of the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions at South Dakota State University following a national search. He resides in Brookings.
2004 Daniel K. Eye was selected as the National Federation of State High School Associations’ recipient for the Outstanding Music Educator Award for South Dakota for his work at West Central High School in Hartford. He resides in Sioux Falls.
2004 Karen E. Gutzman received the Estelle Brodman Award for Academic Medical Librarian of the Year for her work at Galter Health Sciences Library and Learning Center. She resides in Chicago.
