August 2015, Pierson Hall Reunion 1968-1971 in Oregon—This group of ladies first met in Pierson Hall back in the late 60s or early 70s and they still keep in contact. They reside in various places: Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nevada, Texas and Colorado but still manage to reunite every few years. September 2015—Grand Poobas Unite The Sioux Empire Staters monthly luncheon serves as a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni and hear the latest SDSU news straight from its coaches, staff and faculty. During the September luncheon, the Hobo Day Committee, with Bummobile rides included, accompanied Kevin Kessler ’98, SDSU’s director of athletic bands, in preparation for the biggest one-day celebration in the Dakotas. Sept. 15-18, 2015—The Round Robins The Round Robins, a group of SDSU engineering graduates from 1959 and 1960, gathered in Brookings Sept. 15-18, enjoying a bus tour of the campus and the town, a tour of the Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Building, free SDSU ice cream cones, a tour of Royal Plastics and gatherings to visit at the Tufty home in Brookings. The men were nontraditional students, now ranging in age from 78 to 88, and all drove to Brookings for this event from their homes in Arizona, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
