Friday, Oct. 26

10:30 a.m. — Bum Brunch in the Hobo Day Gallery (University Student Union); gallery displays will be updated. Sponsor: 100 Years of Hobo Day Committee

Saturday, Oct. 27

8 a.m. — Hobo Day 5K. Sponsor: Prairie Striders Running Club
8:30 a.m. — Doughnuts & beverages. Tompkins Alumni Center. Sponsor: SDSU Alumni Association
9:30 a.m. — Parade featuring the award-winning Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band; Hobo committee alumni and past poobas to be honored in the parade.
11 a.m. — Alumni Tailgate Tent, the “Back Yard” north of Coughlin-Alumni Stadium. Limited food, beverages and SDSU ice cream available. Sponsor: SDSU Alumni Association
2 p.m. — Football vs. Youngstown State, Coughlin-Alumni Stadium. Hobo committee alumni and past poobas to be honored before the game or at halftime.
7-11 p.m. — Evening social at the Old Fire Hall, 310 Fourth St., downtown Brookings. DJ playing a variety of genres and eras of music; hors d’oeuvres and drinks available. Sponsor: 100 Years of Hobo Day Committee

*Note: The student-run University Program Council is planning a major event with a national act during Hobo Week. No announcement had been made as of press time. It may be held Oct. 22. If it is Oct. 23, Miss Homelycoming would move to Oct. 22.
