Foundation recognizes donors in annual report

More than $26 million in private gifts went from the South Dakota State University Foundation to campus in 2010 to support scholarships, programs, and building projects. That translates to $72,000 every day, or $500,000 every week—dollars made possible by those willing to invest in this generation of Jackrabbits.

Other gifts were made to create and grow endowments that will ensure long-term sustainability of programs that private giving supports.

The Foundation’s 2010 STATELY Review: An Annual Report and Salute to Our Donors recognizes the many generous alumni, friends, and businesses that have enhanced educational excellence at SDSU by supporting It Starts with STATE: A Campaign for South Dakota State University.
